Review and deliver
Creating and revoking secure share links
Create an immutable customer snapshot, replace it when needed, and revoke access.Secure customer links are available for finalized proposals. Each link opens a read-only snapshot of the proposal as it existed when the link was created.
Create a link
- Save and finalize the proposal.
- In Send Proposal, review the customer information.
- Select the confirmation checkbox stating that you checked the recipient and delivery channel.
- Select Copy Customer Link.
- Confirm the action. The secure URL is copied to the clipboard.
The link expires 30 days after creation.
Understand the snapshot
The customer link is immutable. Later edits to the proposal do not change the customer copy already linked. This prevents a sent proposal from silently changing.
The shared snapshot omits customer delivery details, internal product sources, importer warnings, citations, review status, and administrative controls.
Regenerate a link
After saving and finalizing a corrected proposal, select Regenerate Link to create a new snapshot and link. Send the new link to the customer. Confirm the prior link’s status in delivery history.
Revoke a link
Select Revoke Link and confirm. Access ends immediately. A revoked link cannot be restored; create a new link from the correct finalized proposal when access should resume.
Read delivery history
Delivery history shows link creation time, expiration, and channel attempts. Status can include Link created, Sent, Delivered, Failed, Partially sent, Expired, or Revoked.
