Discounts

Discounts are optional and belong to a single equipment option. The discount label, amount, and final total appear in the customer comparison when the discount is enabled and greater than zero.

Add a discount

1. Open the option and go to Pricing.
2. Select Enable discount.
3. Enter a clear Discount label, such as “Seasonal equipment credit.”
4. Choose Fixed dollar amount or Percentage under Discount type.
5. Enter the value and review the calculated summary.

Use a label the customer will understand. Avoid internal abbreviations.

Fixed and percentage behavior

• A fixed discount subtracts the entered dollar amount.
• A percentage discount applies the entered percentage to that option’s price.
• Percentage values are limited to 100%.
• The final discount is capped at the option price, so the final total cannot become negative.

Remove a discount

Clear Enable discount. The customer preview returns to the full entered price. The saved discount fields may remain available if you enable it again, so always recheck them before finalizing.
