Customer and project information
Enter the identifying and job-site details used throughout the proposal.The Proposal information section controls the customer and job-site block at the top of the customer preview.
Proposal fields
- Proposal number identifies the estimate on the dashboard and customer copy. A number is suggested for new proposals, but you can edit it.
- Proposal date is the date displayed to the customer.
Proposal numbers must be unique. If a save reports that a number is already in use, choose another number and try again.
Customer and job-site fields

Use a synthetic example during training, such as Cedar Ridge Home at 42 Meadow Lane. Do not place test contact details in a real customer record.
Text consent
The editor includes Customer agreed to receive this proposal by text. Check it only after the customer has expressly agreed to receive this proposal at the exact mobile number saved in the form. The consent time is recorded when the box is selected.

Finalization requirements
Proposal number, proposal date, customer name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code must be present. Phone, email, and mobile fields may be needed for the chosen delivery method even though they are not all required simply to finalize.
